The Master Cleanse - DAY ONE

so okay, this is take two of the Master Cleanse.
A couple of years ago, my boyfriend Asher and housemate/BFF Jessye tried this little torturefest, but to no avail. Day One consisted of watching movies on the couch while feeling as if a giant were sitting on top of me. Day Two, I went to work and met up with my two fellow fasters, giant bottles of the Mixture in hand, to watch FAHRENHEIT 9-11. When it was sold out, we sat on the steps vaguel despondent, confused, and in doubt.
The evening ending with Jessye and I enjoying a sushi dinner with a couple glasses of wine.

So, this is take two.
The toxins I've been putting in my body on my film festival circuit have left me worse for the wear, and I'm hoping to expel them before I RETOX at Cannes !

So, DAY ONE:

I awoke early to the sounds of gentrification drilling. They are building condos both in back and in front of my apartment. There was no escape.
I had two pints of water before my first mixture of the day. Unfortunately, when I went to buy syrup yesterday, the store only had Grade A. I bought it anyway.
The first mixture was NOT SO BAD.
My stomach just growled.
The lack of coffee is REALLY getting to me. That's the main thing. I feel completely lethargic.

I basically wrote emails and did computer work all day, and around 3 pm, walked up to the health food store to buy the right maple syrup and some SMOOTH MOVE laxative tea, which I must take tonight.
I don't know if I feel hungry. Just tired. Really tired.

I have had two mixtures today and some water. I have almost ingested a gallon at this point.

Damn.
