Hi! I found your blog by way of google, as I, on a whim, searched for Elyse Marinsky. She and I played in orchestra together (class of '63), and we knew each other well enough for me to have met your grandfather a couple of times. I love your tribute to him, and am touched by your evident admiration and obvious love, as well. Please, if you see her (Elyse wouldn't be your mother, would she?), convey my condolences.
